This is a very rare car indeed, one of the Limited Edition "Montecarlo" cars sold in the racing colours of the destination country. This is a genuine Montecarlo with a certificate to show. A nice useable Dutch Version ready to show or race!

From its inception in 1965, the Lancia Fulvia rapidly became the car to beat in everything from rallying to circuit racing to hillclimbs to sprints. Works Fulvias were used for ten seasons between 1965 and 1974, racking up countless wins in events as diverse as the Daytona 24 Hours, the Safari Rally and the Targa Florio. Not only was the Fulvia a machine adaptable to practically any motor sport application, it was also highly competitive in a variety of configurations. 1.2, 1.3 and 1.6 litre engines were all used successfully whilst Fulvias could be specified in either Group 3 or the more highly tuned Group 4 class specifications.

With Grand Touring and Sport variants manufactured too, the only rival able to boast such a diverse array of competition success was the Porsche 911.

The Montecarlo was a replica of the 1972 Montecarlo Rally works car livery with 1298 cc producing 90 hp (67 kW) at 6000 rpm. This version used the 1600HF bodyshell and interior fittings (bucket seats etc.), fitted with front fog lamps and no bumpers; but were fitted with the standard 4.5J steel wheels of the standard 1.3 Coupe. Original Montecarlo's are very rare indeed and were painted in the racing colours of the destination country, blue for France, Green for England, Yellow for Belgium, White for Italy and Orange for Holland.

Interior:
The interior of our car is balck and in a nicce original condition, there is nothing that needs attention and it is very comfortable.

Exterior:
THe paintwork is good and original with a few blemished here and there, it is a good useable car, not a show winner and all the wheels and tyres are also good.

Mechanical:
The car starts and runs exactly as it should and it
had a full £700 service and overhaul last year ready for the summer. The car was fully restored in the ninetied which is why it is a very solid car today.

Summary:
This is a genuine Montecarlo from the factory in Left hand Drive, perfect to fast rallies or racing, in a great colour with a nice history. We have priced it to sell so please be quick as we will not be able to find another!
